The ACLU pursues litigation to fight against voter suppression & gerrymandering. They advocate for policies that make it easier for Americans to vote, such as the expansion of same-day and online voter registration.

Fair Fight promotes fair elections around the country, encourages voter participation in elections, and educates voters about elections and their voting rights. They bring awareness to the public on election reform, advocate for election reformat all levels, and engage in the voter education programs and communications.

The Election Protection (EP) program makes sure eligible voters know how to cast their ballots and ensure they are counted. EP mobilizes voter protection field programs across the country and maintains voter assistance hotlines to connect voters with trained, legal assistance.

National Voter Registration Day
National Voter Registration is a coordinated voter registration effort by organizations and volunteers across the country—in communities, workplaces, libraries, college campuses, and more. They use social media outreach and in-platform activations by digital partners to help voters register to vote online and find registration drives nearby.

Fair Vote
FairVote is a nonpartisan organization that researches and advances voting reforms that make democracy more functional and representative for every American. FairVote is the national driving force behind advancing ranked choice voting (RCV) and proportional RCV in legislative districts to give voters more choices, fairer representation and better government.

Field Team 6
Field Team 6 is dedicated to keeping Democratic hold on the White House and Senate, retaking the House, and winning down-ballot along the way. To win in 2024, they plan to reach out to millions of unregistered likely Democrats using their one-of-a-kind database and every outreach method possible, where new Democratic voters will make the most impact – in the most flippable states and districts.

Progressive Turnout Project is the largest voter contact organization in the country, specifically dedicated to mobilizing the Democratic Party and defending democracy. Using a research backed, one-on-one approach, PTP talks to inconsistent voters who are likely Democrats, and need a nudge, some information, and to hear from a real person to turn up to the polls.

Vote From Abroad
Vote From Abroad assists US citizens voting in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and US territories. Their online tool makes it simple to fill out and send in the federal form needed to request your ballot every year (the Voter Registration and Absentee Ballot Request Federal Post Card Application, also called the FPCA).

Common Cause
Common Cause works to increase access to vote by mail. They combat the defunding of the postal service to suppress mail vote. They have a petition in the next Cares act to bail out the postal service. They advocate for every county in CA to do absentee voting and they utilize volunteer action to urge elected representatives to support vote by mail reforms.

Protect Democracy
Protect Democracy utilizes litigation to defend the rule of law, to deter criminality, to prevent abuses of power, to counter disinformation, and to protect vulnerable communities. They work to advance policies to balance institutional power and publish research & analysis with ideas/solutions for protecting democracy.

Center for American Progress
CAP develops new policy ideas for policymakers that lead to real change, challenge misinformation or misdirection in the media, communication & outreach efforts to move ideas aggressively in national policy debate.

The Fairness Project
The Fairness Project finances and supports state ballot initiative campaigns in order to promote left-of-center policies such as government-mandated comprehensive paid family and medical leave, Medicaid expansion, and minimum wage increases. 32 of their 34 ballot measures have passed thus far.
